Looks like a pink warty sea cucumber

When it dies it can take out all fish(from what I have heard), but they are beautiful. I ended up selling mine back and regret it. Probably one of the most interesting creatures in a reef.

Thanks heaps. Its definately an ascidian but it seems (at this point) to be hard fixed to the rock like a sea squirt. Where as arent cucumbers free moving?
I just read they are hard to look after but i have a small black sea.cucumber that I bearly care about and its doing great.

Edit: yes sea cucumbers can attach themselves to rocks so they can feed in heavy flow areas of the coral reefs.

Addendum. I just moved it from the bucket to the q tank and your spot on pink warty cucumber. Seems it atrachment to its rock was fleeting. thanks heaps for the info

Does it need high flow ?

Some sea cucumbers position themselves in current to catch food that flows by with their open tentacles. They also sift through the bottom sediments using their tentacles.

I likes flow, but not too much. Enough to catch what it needs.
