Everything but plumbing is ordered or has arrived so now i am starting the prep for the build, and actually my LEAST favorite part.. Aquascaping.
Building a 48x30x20 tank, have about 90lbs or so of rock to work with.
50lbs reefcleaners.org rock (similar to marco rock)
~15 lbs brs fiji
~20 lbs brs pukani
The tank will have sand and i will be drilling the rock and using acrylic rods inside. I will NOT be going SPS dominant, likely anemones and lps will fill most of the tank with some softies as well. With that said, there will be around 10-15 different sps pieces, mostly older ORA pieces.
Here is what i put together so far, with the idea of the back left structure to be strictly bubble tip anemeones, and the front left structure to be the base for my Frogspawn/hammer corals. The larger right structure will be home to everything else.
