Hello, fellow reefers. I want to install an extra float switch to the skimmate collection bucket to stop it when it reaches the maximum level.
Should I order a PLM- 4Level, or, a PLM-ADIN expansion card, PAB cable, and a breakout box?
I'm looking forward to your feedback, TIA.
Best regards,
Manos.

If you are looking to add a PLM-4Level I can assume you are currently using all 4 inputs on the P4?

Another question, do you need alarm ? (No alarm with PLM-ADIN)

Important question because P4 already have 4 level entrances. 2 contacts but you can split each contact into two with this

If you use all 4 level ports - it is enough with a PLM- 4 Level card if you have free expansion cards slots in the P4. (there is two slots for expansion cards)

Thank you sir.
Forget - you need a float sensor too

I have a similar function - not for my skimmer but another equipment that should stop if a bucket get filled up The pump is connected to S37 and I use leakage detection. When you knit it to your skimmer socket - use the inverted function

So, it's better to use a PLM-4Level, to utilize the alarm function.
