Show me your 30 gal sump

I have a 30 gallon tank I want to make a sump with Refugium but I am having spacing issues. I have a reef octopus 150 int and it takes up a lot of room. Post your 30 gal sump designs so I can get an idea.

P.S. Anyone building 75-90 gallon tank, I really suggest going with a 55 gallon tank for a sump.

too late, o already bought the 30. if not i would go with 55inch. I have to make due with what I have

the problem is i want to make a refugium area but not enough space unless i make a santa monica algae scrubber

Worked in mine. But I pulled the skimmer out and put in one with a little less kick.

yea that's a HOB skimmer, I would not use that for my setup..

My 150 internal fits in here as well. i can almost fit them both in there. I'm not sure where you're spacing issue is coming in.

Like I said. Was just too much skimmer for the 40 gallon up top. But that little skimmer does nicely.
The sump is 30" wide x 12" deep x 18" tall.
I still have a roomy refugium and return section.
It works well for my needs.
