Hey everyone, I really want to start off with something simple as far as equipment is concerned. The bio cube 32 looks like a good foot in the door. I am kind of limited on space so a 75 gallon aquarium is off the table and for my future house hahah in all seriousness I would love to see photos of your biocube and what you got going on.

New to the hobby,

Have yet to get my feet wet :|

No BioCube for me, but there are lots of folks here who have one. Welcome to R2R nonetheless!

My first lil’ reef

I just got one, but I'm still cycling! almost done with the cycle I hope. I have been cycling for about six weeks and have positive nitrates, zero nitrites, and I just tested my ammonia tester with a control and figured out it was inaccurate, so I need to go get a new ammonia test kit! Almost ready to add fish. As you can see, I have a biocube 16 right next door.

Here’s mine. Super simple, tried not to complicate stuff. Steve’s leds, Upgraded return pump, intank media basket, and K1 Nano Skimmmer. No carbon, dosing, or anything like that. Just 5g WC every other week. Been running a Jebao power head just waiting to upgrade to an mp10. Great tank all around IMO, not just a starter. I had a 125g after this 32g and it was just too much for me personally. Sold it off and went back to just having the cube.

How do you like your steve's LED's. have any before and after pics with the same corals?

Love them. Best lights for this tank IMO if you want to keep the lid. Don’t have any before pics because I switched them before I filled it, but I can tell you the comparison is not even close to the same. Steve’s leds are like the Ecotech Radions for a biocube.

This has been extremely helpful to see your setups and read your feed back, Especially those who posted pictures and the lighting upgrade recommendation for the biocube was awesome, there is not much information of that subject.
