I am starting a new thread. I’m curious to see everyone’s Duncans! Please send details. This is one of mine, it’s growing 7 heads at once… has anyone ever seen such a thing happen?? Anyway, he’s clearly insanely happy lol

Here is mine. Lower flow area, but still enough to make it sway. placed midway tank height. Alk 8.5, cal 420. Mag 1440 nitrate 20-24 ppm, phosphate 1.6 ppm
Lights just kicked on 30 min ago and ramping up. It gets nice and big during the day

I'm not gonna lie I stopped counting the heads. If you fed them stuff like krill or and frozen food they explode.

Sorry only picture of my massive duncan colony is an FTS. Duncan colony on the right hand side. Started off as a single head, I've had it about 5 years now, and it has been fragged twice.

7 heads at once I have SPS that grow faster than my duncans - not sure why I am lucky to get one new head in 6 months. They are always plump and open, never lost any heads, just soooo slow in my tank
