Aquilonastra stars are running my tank, if I had to guess there’s Atleast 500 in this tank alone.

Have any issues with them eating soft corals? Mine demolish Zoas, I began removing them.. But, they don't touch my Duncans (keeping on topic..)..

I believe these caused my GSP to decline and split however other than that they don’t affect any other corals and I have leathers, mushrooms, LPS and one SPS hanging on for dear life (I used to have 4-5 SPS that thrived).

So far I’ve only seen my lfs carry it. Below is a colony pic I found on Reddit. I’ll take a pic of my lfs’ colony.

Started as 3 heads in April. Fragged ~20 heads off it between now and then but guessing it’s around 60 heads now.

Here is mine. Lower flow area, but still enough to make it sway. placed midway tank height. Alk 8.5, cal 420. Mag 1440 nitrate 20-24 ppm, phosphate 1.6 ppm
Lights just kicked on 30 min ago and ramping up. It gets nice and big during the day

I take this back. My Duncan, a torch and a couple of others were wiped out by these in July/August. So in went a Harlequin who is still finding them today.
