Howdy guys , new to the forum and was looking for pics of everyone's goniopora. Unfortunately we are limited to some of the goniopora we get in Australia , as most of the very nice ones get exported overseas. Just wanted to see if there are others out there with goniopora dedicated tanks like my partner and myself post up your favourite or most special piece or a FTS of your goniopora dedicated tanks with some information on what you feed , lighting , flow etc I'll start it off

Picture 1 is our new orange frag
Picture 2 is a unique multicolour Goni
Picture 3 is our red glitter Goni
Picture 4 is our bi colour glitter Goni
Picture 5 FTS of our old 4ft Goni tank

LIGHTING:
We run radion gen 3 pros over our tank at a max of 60-70%

FEEDING:
Mostly consist of reef roids , amino acids and a few other supplements

FLOW:
Moderate flow areas

LOVE the last photo- looks like fireworks! I have one little frag at the moment. not doing too hot.. hoping it survives long enough for me to get it in my new tank once it cycles

We are currently waiting for our new tank to cycle as well so we can start V2.0 , smaller tank but more unique gonis... Can't wait!!

Have any secrets for keeping these beauties?
Our secret is feeding the right food reef roids , amino acids etc generally a target feed with pumps off for 20-30 minutes also a lot of people don't know but gonis will sting each other when placed next to one that isn't from the same species it's hard to explain but my partner and I had a nice purple get smashed by one of our tequila sunrise gonis and it killed 50% of the purple Goni

I had no idea they extended that far out. I guess I lost interest when I got the impression they were very difficult to keep long term. But those are beautiful! So tranquil looking.

They used to be considered hard but with the variety of foods available now days it's much easier

Oh my!! What a beautiful piece of art! Great job! This tank is absolutely stunning. Definitely TOTM material. I'll be following.
