I was thinking about taking advantage of their bta/clown package for $20 because I also wanted to order a cuc and shipping would be free on the whole deal. Before I do though I wanted to see if I could get some feedback from you guys that have purchased bta's from them before. Pics would also be extremely appreciated as well.

I've not purchased but I've twice seen the R2G green BTA/clownfish combo they frequently offer via my reef club friends and both times the BTA was IMO, too small to be a host. And while I've not purchased a BTA from them, I've purchased other marine life and IME when it come's to R2G, you get what you pay for. Also, I know for absolute certain that they do not often post their less-than-stellar product reviews.

I should be receiving mine tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me and I will post a pic after I get it acclimated.

Well my ordered arrived about 2 hours ago. The Starry Blenny arrived DOA. 2 of the 4 ricordeas I ordered are VERY small and the color is instinctual. The anemone "looks" healthy but is light yellow rather than green (lost is zooxanthellae?). I checked the salinity of the water it came in and it was at 1.020??!!??!! I keep my tank at 1.025 so the acclimation for this guy is gonna be several hours and hopefully it makes the adjustment okay. The size looks good but it is balled up a bit from the trip. Mouth closed and foot in great shape. I got several types of macro for me refugium, one of which had 2, yes 2!, juvinille pipefish in it. I didn't order these little guys but they are a welcome addition to my refugium which is TEEMING with life so they should flourish. Overall it was a good shipment pending the anemone's adjustment and how well the ricordea open up. I will post a photo of the anemone once he is in my tank. banded pie ellae ?) Ttt

Sounds like it was worth the price of admission so far. Not a great shipment but can't bash them too much. Of you can, post pics of the nem throughout the process. I would like to see how it acclimated and opens up over the next few days.

Here it is after its first day of acclamation.

That looks really bleached. It had to be bleached before they sent it. That doesn't happen overnight.

It is VERY light colored for sure. It has a healthy foot and tight mouth. IT also crawled across the substrate to that spot rather than roll with the flow.. So I don't know. It has some green but it is very light.

I've seen worse...it could pull through. A few thoughts...don't blast it with light, offer high protein filter foods daily- I'd offer oyster feast. Watch the nitrates. Give it brisk bidirectional flow and keep the clownfish off of it for now.

Well after 3 weeks of pampering this guy as much as possible it lost the good fight. That's the last nem I purchase online.

I just got 3 BTAs from different sources online and all of them look great with amazing color. The source has a lot to do with it.

Ritter, where'd you order from and which had the best looking BTA, I'm looking to get another soon

I got a nice green and a nice rose from Aquasd. I got a rainbow from coralcollection.net that is by far the nicest colored. All 3 came in healthy and colored up.
