I used real reef rubbles glued to egg crate for background and add two real reef rocks. It's 60 gal tank and begun the cycle. It will be SPS dominated.

This pic is from May, corals have filled in a little more since then and I just re-aquascaped to make room for frags.

It's an older pic before I lost all my corals but the scape is still the same. It seemed to work well and allowed for a ton of acros. I'm currently restocking it with SPS.

Thanks. I have a big skimmer and siporax rings in the sump. Macro reactor will be added this weekend also.

i need to hurry up and stop being lazy and take some ideas from these scapes

That was the idea, room for acros to grow at several different levels. Plus I love overhangs and with it open it allows lots of flow to prevent dead spots. It's actually 3 separate islands but the 2 on the left kinda interlock to form 1 large island. I used the flat sided Marco rocks as a base so I only have 3 rocks on the bottom glass which makes keeping the sand clean of detritus.
