I went a different direction - Here is my center show pcs I had custom built from a company called Aqua Rocks and I also had Vitarocks make me two large Vidawave pieces for me and whats cool about Vidarocks every pcs is made different.
For this new system that i am designing will be mostly a SPS dominate tank! I am just waiting to order my sump and I will be starting my build thread in the members area.

I think it looks pretty cool but not for my tank.
I like a mix of tonga branch, shelf and pukani....as you can see in my aquarium.
I have a few tonga branches, 3-4 shelfs and the rest is pukani.

Haven’t used Stax but have used Marco shelf which is similar, with pukani on a couple tanks. I like shelf’s but too much flat rock can get a little redundant imo. Here’s one corner of my latest build while a buddy holds all of my livestock until I’m a few months in. I like the Marco shelf because its flat but has a tapered profile with a bunch of crevices etc. FWIW.

Whats the rock sitting on, looks like a platform under the rock about 3/4 inch thick?

That is freaking beautiful, how would you get that in the tank without it breaking apart? Is it wet yet with more pictures?

Well that’s really unfortunate. I actually had very little damage in all of my boxes. Did you try and contact them?

Same for me. I ordered two 40 lb boxes through my LFS that arrived without noticeable damage. I'm not much of an artist but here's my STAX

I did just purposely destroy most of it, as It started to annoy me. I just didn't like it.

Once the tank clears up and the mad corals come around, Ill update my build thread.

Did they show up yet? I'm about ready to start scaping my RSR 450. It looks like some people put the rock on egg crate to keep it off the glass. I think that's a great idea.

You'll love the drop off. Sorta a pain to clean but worth it. Where did you get the rock?

These rocks are definitely not my style. I hate seeing the man made cuts. Just looks so unnatural to me. Once the coral grows it would look better but that’s too long for me to wait to have a tank I’m happy with. Some interesting shapes can be made though.

This is what I came up with while using a combo of dry base rock and some Stax rock. Tank is a JBJ 45-RL

I must say I couldn't stand the look of any of these tanks when they were freshly set up. Just too square and not at all natural looking to me.

But seeing the tanks that also posted shots after the tank was grown in a bit..... dang most of them actually look REALLY good once they rocks are colored up and the hard edges of all the flat corners are hidden.

New to forum. Just got back into hobby. Rocks came in decent shape. See table pic. I was impressed with little breakage despite reviews everywhere. Not sure if my scape will work well. Trying to avoid shadow issues. Starting with a hydra 26hd over a 170 reefer.

Nice looking scape. I didn’t have much breakage either. Make sure you leave enough room on the side to clean the glass, the right side looks a little close but it’s hard to tell from the angle of the picture. Do you have a stocking plan?

Good point. I’ll check glass when I get home. No laid out plan quite yet. Still working on. Sump layout. Trying to do everything right this time.
