Show me your Up and Coming corals

Nice stuff. Thats a lot of frags, I hope you have a big tank :)

Its my holding tank until I find out where my next job is. I had two interviews last week. One in Florida and the other in Ohio. Once I land a job, I'll have to set up a display tank, fed ex the coral to my home, fly back home, and place the coral in the tank. This helps satisfy my SPS addiction until I have a display set up. :) This week I have a job interview in Kansas.

Sound like you might as well throw a dart at a map. Good luck with your job interviews, hope you end up somewhere nice.

Nice, do you still have that bright orange millie?
yup and it still has the crazy orange...I need to get an updated pic of it....but every time I post it I get a crazy flood of PM's asking to frag it, it's hard to reply to all of them.

Cuna what kind of lighting are you using ?

Hi YoungFrankenstein,

My lighting is ultra blue. I have an 8x80 ATI SunPower. The Bulb configuration looks like this:

Blue+
Blue+
Actinic
AquaBlue
AquaBlue
Actinic
Blue+
Blue+

I was able to dial down the blue by using a grey card to adjust my custom white balance. The pics were taken with a stock lense that came with my Canon Rebel T2i. Even though you do not get any of the artificial blue (My tank normally has a nuclear neon glow), you can see how the corals would look in their natural environment. This is about the most daylight representation that I can get. It really resembles the 6500K Iwasakis MH bulbs I used back in the day.

Warmest Regards,
James
