Or... Do you use a laser?

I saw this Thread from a couple years ago, and was wondering if anyone has had continued success with this method and what they use, or if manual crushing remains most effective.

Myself I use these basic tweezers !

In the tank, I don't use anything fancy. A nail, a screwdriver, or similar object rudely inserted into the mouth of the pest as deep as I can and then pry open the tube to allow the fish to eat the snail for lunch. If they are attached to the bottom of the tank, I have used a putty knife to lift the entire tube off the bottom and dump the calcium shell into the waste bin.

Out of the tank, the above-mentioned tools plus any blunt instrument I can use to crush the shell. Hammer, chisel, fork, whatever is handy.
