Here is ours, he's grown 1/3 of his orig size since we got him about four months ago. He's a little under the weather we think usually he spreads to where that snail is just above him. He has a Clarkii that keeps him well fed.

I only had this beauty for about a month before it went to its new owner. Was around 16"across when spread out (basket is 12") also it was in the basket because I didn't want a rampage in the flat with all the other colonies/frags In there. So gorgeous.

Mine? I have old T5's and haven't been able to update them. One row has been updated though.

I can see that the "bald" spot near the mouth is common with these. I was worried it was a sign of an impeding doom of the mouth and gut hanging out.

dbraun, are your tentacles on your green carpet thicker the farther from the mouth? Ours is really thick on the last two inches or so and then has stripes from the mouth to the thicker patch of tentaclees. almost like hes going for a "two tone" look. lol

Yes, it's almost like most of the greens I see have an outer rim. The tentacles on the outside are really close together and the closer you get to the mouth, the tentacles spread out a bit.

Thanks it's looks stunning close up expands to about 10 inches feed it once a week on medium size krill

The big one is mean. Killed two chocolate chip stars, and a brittle star. They fell in. Each time after swallowing almost the whole thing he would spit it out. Then they would die a day or two later. Clown will not go near him.
