Hello,
I have the coveted "Rain of War" Pentagona. It is a true rainbow Favites pentagona, "War" coral. I acquired the mother colony from Indonesia nine months ago. It is part of my most prized collection of rare corals from around the world. This particular piece is the only, known one of its kind in the Faviidae Family. The pigment on the original mother colony has seven conversions. The conversions are not exactly repetitive and any one fragment is capable of all seven conversions. I have experimented with many fragments under many different light sources. I have two new colors on one particular fragment, being grown under G2's. The capability of the color conversions is astounding! Here is a photo of the original mother colony. Hope it ranks high on your list of eye candy.

Yes I didn't want to put it here wasnt sure how everyone felt about that and not sure why I said small it is huge! I enjoyed every minute of my visit if my son hadn't been with me I would of stayed a lot longer for sure. I appreciate him selling me a piece and showing me around his place it is a very nice shop! Will be a must visit stop if I am ever back in the area!

thanks for putting the photo of your fragment. I cut that one specifically to show how the color conversions can come from any one fragment. This one was cut from a section of the mother colony, only having the two tones of green and the black. As you can see, the color conversions have already started to puddle out. Please show another photo in a month or so. BA for sure!

This is a no name chalice I got from a lfs, it was inexpensive too

Isn't that funny i was at a LFS yesterday and they had that same chalice. Was going to get it, thought it was unusual. But a few other corals won out.
