Here is the stand minus the paint and plumbing. The door hiding the controllers panel is hinged, and the other panels are removable with magnetic catches.

Very nice. I wanted to use some casing moulding like you had on yours, but I just didn't have enough room on my stand.

Those are both great, but that cube tank stand looks so good I saved the pictures so I can copy it in the future. Nice work!

Thank you! I'm still thinking about adding a shelf around the top edge with maybe some corbels under it. It would be handy to have somewhere to set stuff when working on it. I skinned it with wire brushed hickory. Here's a couple more pictures if it helps you out.

Here is mine. Canopy still needs to be designed and built.

That is a unique look. Nicely done!

Inside it's a 2x6 frame with butt joints, wrapped with ship lapped wood and reclaimed barn tin. The wood is stained and brushed and distressed with teal/black paint, then coated with poly. Matches the rest of our basement, my wonderful wife did all the wrap work.

Absolutely love the reclaimed tin and barn wood. Would like to see more pics of this piece of art ;-)

Are those panels made from hardwood flooring? What did you use to hold them sturdy? It is a very nice and creative facade!

This is a stand i built 8 years ago. I tore it down when we moved. I still have the tanks stored away.
