Is this a blushing leather in my pic?!? The lfs owner told me it was a closed up toadstool when i bought it and i thought it was dying because it never "opened up" haha

Looks like one to me. I have a smaller one on the back side of the rock my other one is on and it looks just like the one you have just smaller. Mine will go from red to pink then to white when my shrimp or my hand go near it. It is quit fun to watch, the kids love it.

Oh cool. So far all ive noticed on mine is the polyps close up when i touch it so hopefully it will eventually start blushing!

How long have you had it? Mine took several weeks before it would 'blush' instead of close up.

Ive had mine for almost 2 weeks so its probably not fully acclimated yet! Where donyou place yours in the tank? Right now mine is higher up right below my wavemaker....should i move it to a lower/less flow spot?

Mine is in my 29 gallon Biocube. I placed it on the sand bed in the middle of my tank. It is my center piece with my bubble coral. Here is a tank pic, I have moved the leather to the center since this pic was taken.

Wow thats awesome its nice and filled in! I see you also have those little white filter feeder worms on your back wall as well! Haha heres my fts. 55gal tank with an aqueon proflex 3 sump fts pic was before i moved my blusher to the rock under the powerhead

Hands down my favorite is my tyree toadstool! But he's the most sensitive in the tank. All it takes is a 1+- degree in temp and he's all closed up. He's just a baby though lol

Great thread! I always like seeing ppl tanks as well.
Here is my neon sinularia:

I have a neon toad stoll as well as a mystery leather I could not get ID. have it about 6 months now has not grown much at all. i'll see about getting some pics.

I have really want a nice yellow fifji I got one from L.A but in came in looking pretty bad. and died when in a day.

I have had it 1.5 years and it's has split into 3.
