SHOW OFF YOUR MOST EXPENSIVE ZOA!!

Different placement, and lighting. The yellow ones were only $25.

POTO calls them different so it’s an ongoing debate. But the green version (exosphere) is perhaps the brightest Zoa I’ve seen under white/daylight, a decent colony is unreal in person, the green is sooo bright!
My main colony is like 30 polyps. I got my first single from the guy who “discovered it” in one of the shops down here in Miami. Probably one of my all time favorite.

Well there is some kind of consensus on the name tho… Exospheres (my pic) have a lineage back to south Florida and a story behind them. So your stratocasters can’t be called Exospheres just like mohawks can’t be called stratospheres lol

There is different morphs but what you got there is a TRUE Stratocaster. That’s how they should look like not the faded ones.
I can't even imagine. The green exos I absolutely love man. I gotten something similar from lro back a few years ago when the exosphere gained popularity. not a zoa guy but definitely are interested in trying some of the nicer ones when I see them. Here's like my typical stratocaster when I see it.

bottom ones aren't as bright. These are like the less bright stratosphere people push. My third morph Is probably melting. They were all close up when I stopped in this morning

who knows. I like em lol

And then like here are the poto exospheres in daylight. So so nice man, think they just named it that way cause it's not a strat but close to it. Disregard the death on the blastos LOL. Stuff tends to fall off my back glass and lands on everything now and then

@Sabellafella nice colony of Poto Exosphere (that's the name game for ya). I'd considered buying the strain during one of their sales but it was still north of $100pp at that point and I didn't see enough else to justify shipping. How long have you had it? It appears to be a pretty solid grower and presents really really nicely!

As for stratocasters it's a big ole bucket of every yellow, purple and black zoa. They were few and far between there for a few years but once indo opened back up I've been seeing a bunch of different variations coming in on maricultured pucks. Obvious conclusion is that those types of zoas are largely endemic to the indo area. Here's two more examples. The ones on the puck are more solid vs the broken pattern on the other variety. Ones on the puck look similar to Chiquitas after 7-8 months in my system.

So I have a new contender in my tank for most expensive zoa. My 8p GMK colony was in the lead, but then I added this (sorry for the terrible picture)...

That's 27p of Murder Hornets! Zoanthids.com currently sells them for $125 for 1p or $200 for 2p.

Man, I love buying from and trading with other hobbyists!

The green one is in the middle....yellow at the bottom...u can see what i mean in terms of brightness

Hook me up with one of those when you're ready!

My 1p Deathstar is now almost 3p! Super cool zoa, and they seem to be growing well for me too!
Yes loving the color on these, and the big polyps. Strong growers, went from 2 polyp to about 12 in 3 months.

Here are my White Zombies and Grand master Krakatoa. Both new additions!
