Thanks. I will likely end up trying to pair this guy up later on, but with another Mitratus :)

As for quarantine, I isolated him for just a week to ensure he was eating well without competition, but not for disease. He came from Divers Den, which I've never had a problem with their fish. Fish from anywhere else I'll be quarantining them at least 4-6 weeks to ensure they don't bring anything into the display tank.

I'm getting 3 fish tomorrow, a baby blonde Naso and a pair of Blue Stripe Akindnyos clowns, both from Divers Den as well. I'll be keeping them in for at least a week, likely longer unless another vendor comes through with some "must have" fish :)

I get all my rare and expensive tangs hand picked by a dealer from a wholesaler. top notch quality i have almost 1300 in fish. tang: Achilles, vlamingi , macipolous, blonde naso, blue, lieutenant
wrasse: red tail, melanarous male, flimented flasher, mystery wrasse. maroon clown. spotted dragonette and red scooter.

as for photos i only have my phone camera that's why they all suck

Nice list, but I don't think any of them are "rare" per say, kinda like my butterfly I posted. They are readily available, but just cost a lot.

People seem to confuse expensive with "rare". :)

Only rare fish is the macipolous and maybe the red tail as some people tell me hahaha but yes i agree with you on that. my bad on the typo. Ive always wanted butterfly fish but with all my coral and clams and such i can't :/

Man, I was trying to get a hold of a few of those, but they were off the wholesaler list by the time my LFS orders.

Thank you for the kind words and be careful - once you acquire one or two, the wrasse bug bites pretty hard, LOL. :xd:
