Want to see everyone's sumps so that I can get some references and make my own. Mine will most likely be of the dimensions 34 inches long and 24 inches wide. I will start off with a roller mat, skimmer, and a return pump. But will have a refugium section and enough space for a reactor or two. Do drop in the measurements of your sump and the details of the equipments along with a picture of the main tank if possible. Thanks!

IM RFS39... 39" long. Ultra Reef Akula 160 DC, Aquamax Sigma 2 Reactor, Icecap Pro Algae Scrubber, Helio Heating System.

Here’s my tank and sump
IMG_5215.jpeg

reef octopus 300s skimmer , phos reactor , cheap doser amd L2 return pump . Nothing fancy . Middle section a small amount of live rock with powerhead . And tunze auto top up .
Love the simple approach you have. It has to be one of the most beautiful tanks I have seen. Now I really gotta ask, what are the dimensions of the aquarium? And what lights are you using?

Thanks for the kind comments. My display is 5ft long x 3ft wide x 28inch deep . For lighting I’ve got 2 orphek atlantiks and 6 or3 bars . 4 blue and 2 daylight .

how the heck do you keep your system so clean??
Lol it actually keeps itself pretty clean :) I have the two MP40s which sit on the bottom and blow directly against the front glass and up into the overflow....that keeps the bottom clean. I also do AWCs with one manual change every week where I clean the glass and swap out powerhead covers with clean ones.

well yeah that makes sense...
maybe I need to place my 3rd powerhead also on the lower side of the tank.
But where to place it in a cube is the question.........

my bottom usually keeps some detritus.. but I already have a sh1tload of flow......

Beautiful tank. Please share your Orphek Atlantiks lighting schedule/intensity. What PAR are you achieving?

Definitely one of the benefits of BB.....you can place those powerheads directly on the bottom. In the middle of the night I kick up the power for about an hour. Maybe just do something like that where you leave your third on the bottom but only run it for a limited time in the middle of the night.
