Show off your Tangs

White tail and Tomini tangs have white tail. Difficult to tell from your picture on the species, other than it has white tail.
White tail has more of a truncated tail while Tomini has forked tail. From your picture, it has forked tail, thus you may have a Tomini which also called Orange fin tang or Flame fin tang. Tomini is not an expensive tang, but nevertheless it is a beautiful tang.

Hey guys, LFS sold this to me as orange-striped bristle tooth tang for $69. I am thinking he was wrong. It looks like a White tail bristle tooth which is more expensive. Can I have an ID? Sorry for the pic, he’s very active, it’s hard to get a decent pic.

I was at my friends, @Claybird1985 and @alton today. I just got to show off Clayton's Blonde Naso. I have never seen a better looking or healthier Blonde Naso. You guys be the judges here. Just a snap with no editing

That fishy is healthy and fat. Gorgeous bright colors.

My sailfin decided to pose for the camera!
Nice fat tang. I love it. Too often I see emaciated tangs, often I have to bite my tongue (or keyboard here) and not say anything.

All my fish are overfed piglets… there’s a restaurant near me with an SPS heavy tank and I get so mad every time I see the tank. Corals look great… it’s clear that the fish are being underfed to keep water quality. I hear you.

My 5 year old 8" Sohal tangg

Is he still growing? How big of a tank he is in? How aggressive is he in your tank? I have an opportunity to buy a baby Sohal for 180. So far, I am very hesitant to get him for my 320 because of the reputation of this species.

Two Biota Yellow Tangs. I took the picture right after replacing the Aqueon tank with another after the first leaked (why the label is still on). One yellow is now in my 180, my LFS just had to have the other, the Flame pair is in my 120g office tank. The Navarchus is also tank raised.

Nice looking flames! How long have you had them?

This pair maybe 6 months, the pair in my 180 6 years. OrionN taught me to find one with rounded fins (female) and an add one with pointed fins (male) and three out of four times they will pair. They started laying eggs a couple weeks ago which was difficult and why I moved them.
