A couple of my tangs and other fish at Nori feeding time.

They are great fish...the Blonde Baso is about 7/8 inches, the purple and the yellow is about 5 inches, Gem 4 inches and purple 3 inches. Added Hippo and Naso first then 2 weeks later added the others at same time. All getting along great in the 625g tank.....

JUST RE READ ABOVE..UGH...NO MORE EDIT OPTION...S/B NASO NOT BASO, THE YELLOW IS ABOUT 5 INCHES(NOT THE PURPLE TOO), (I do have a yellow belly hippo but don’t have photo)...correct that Gem is 4 inches and Purple 3 inches....thx for putting up with the rush of not proof reading before hitting send....

What has everyone’s experiences been with clown tangs with other tangs?

Are they always a terror or is their reputation somewhat overblown?

Strongly recommend that clown tangs not be mixed with other tangs. They are terrors...at least has been my experience, they get worst as they mature also.

What happened to Achiies? They are beautiful but if in fact he passed, it wouldn’t be the first time that someone has had difficulty with this species. I’ve never gotten one because research suggest they are to delicate for most aquariums and thus don’t live long in most captive situations.

This is Raj. He's our Dejardini Sailfin Tang. He'll be celebrating one month in our tank on the 23rd of this month. Absolutely love him. He's about 1.5". So cute. Currently he's our only tang. We'll be getting a Yellow Belly Blue Tang this weekend. Very excited to have a 2nd tang.

In the olden days when I used films, it is hard to learn how to use camera. Costly, no immediate feed back. Now we can literally take thousands of shot, and all we need to do is to recharge the battery.
