As beautiful and eye catching as large fish are, I honestly have always preferred small fish more than the larger fish (don't let my foxface and tangs know).

I have the following small fishes:
Two red head gobies
Two hectors gobies
A biota mandarins (the other one died unfortunately after I got him)
Clingfish
Tail spot blenny

Will be adding more small fish, so if you have suggestions of your favorite small fish let me see them! :D

Show off those adorable little fish

I ordered one from a friend who gets fish from wholesale and they ended up giving me one pair for $25 by surprise
That is a great deal! His cost was $40 + $50 shipping

You already have some of my favorites, I have 2 pair of Yasha gobies with Andy pistol shrimps (in 2 different tanks). 2 green clown gobies in the 2 different tanks A tailspot bennie, neon goby, yellow banded possum wrasse, geometric Pygmy hawk fish, and a Biota mandarin with my female mandarin.

how much sand does that pistol move? I've had a watchman in QT observation for 2 months now but second guessing my plan to add a pistol to the display.
The little candy cane (Randalls) shrimp don't move all that much compared to a tiger pistol//watchman combo. They will move some sand around their burrow but doesn't make huge mounds or cover corals.

I have a friend who bought 6 of them for his 150 thank, each one jumped out over the course of a year. They are beautiful but too pricey to afford them to just jump

These were “tiny.”

Not mine, but they caught my eye at PetCo two days ago.

Biota’s captive bred yellows are certainly a nice fish at that size haha, a pain in the back side at 2” though!
