mine is an aussie as well, he's been at the lfs since the summer, no one bought him. he was only 99 which isnt' bad for an australian tusk. the blue on his mouth is very cool but hard to capture in photos

that's a wierd colouration on that Tusk (where did all the orange go?)....is it a juvy??? dunno much about harlequins...sorry twon

..looks like it's getting some blue on the mouth...but what about the teeth.....Indo/anywhere else have regular whiteish teeth, right?

here's my buddy's Aussie Tusk...dang nice fish, but kiss your snails, shrimp and crabs goodbye!

it is a juvenille, only about 2-3", and still has the tail spots. its more orange in person and the mouth is very blue from a front view.

I have the same wrasse as you saltnewbie(not the flame! :hammer He is soo cool. He hid for the first few days then came out while I was at school.

edwing206 - that's so funny, my filamented did the same thing. I didn't see him for like 2-3 days then he came out like he owned the place. Cool little fish.

i know how that goes...there were a few that were posting sweet pics of wrasses a few years ago and i had to get one..which led to one more and one more and so on....i am going to get a red velvet next..c. rubrisquamis..the way they turn white when displaying is so pretty...good luck on finding your line-spot i had to look for quite some time to find mine
