this guy is the meanest in my tank
That is not a Royal Gramma but a Bicolor (or Royal) Dottyback, Pictichromis paccagnellae. It is a very aggressive species.

Yeah he is very aggressive and more aggressive than any of my other fish.

The Toby puffers are also cute and much smaller and would be very suitable for your size tank. Midas blennies are a really cool fish and I agree with the different wrasses that were suggested.
Just picked up a toby last week! He's in QT at the moment, and shy as can be.

Can anyone tell if this tilefish is Male or female. I think its make but I am not sure.

I had a saddle valentini puffer absolutely corncob an acro frag and proceeded to attack literally every sps in my
tank. Be careful!
Really crazy I have had him for about a year and he is very peaceful once in a while he gets to ticked off and shreds my mushrooms but not that often.

Love those! Think my tank is too small though. Dog Face Puffer is for sure one of my favs too!

What about a white spotted toby? It's a hawaiian fish that is like a mini puffer. Might not be the star of the show, but they sure are cute! Some people have issues with them nipping at the fins of other fish, but others don't.

Yeah, mine went crazy within minutes of coming out of my 29 and into the 55. I’ve never put a fish into the sump so fast. He’s in softie-filled home of another reefer right now where he and the coral is safe.

I don't have anything too expensive other than some LPS so I don't mind. But if he chooses to go for those or find he'll find himself in the sump as well

This guy is mean, really mean. He even challenges the puffer once in a while.

I would never reccomend getting a dotty because they are mean. I only have him because he was my dads. I didnt even know until today that he wasn't a gramma.

If you have live rock in your system already, (which you do), I would go with dry. It's drastically cheaper, and after a month or so, it too will become live.

Cool I was thinking it is probably not good to get other peoples bacteria.

I mean you could buy LIVE live rock from like Tampa Bay aquatics with bacteria and other goods and bad from the ocean, but that's even more expensive than getting it from your LFS. I plan on getting some from them in the not so distant future, just to see what kind of goodies and baddies I get. It's like Schrodinger's lottery, until you put it in your tank it's both good and bad for it haha
