How do I set the forums to show most recent post first rather than showing from original post? I had it via the user control panel on the old forums, but I'm not sure where to find it on the new one.

I just click on the time under the last post users name to go to the last post using this forum software.

I'm not sure I understand.

I'm talking about having the most recent post in a thread show up as the first post when I click on the thread to read it. Rather than having to sift through the last page of a thread to find the most recent. I like to read from recent posting backwards to the original post.

Are you clicking from the home page recent threads list? If so that is being looked at. If you click from say the "new posts" link it will work correctly.

I will work correctly if it's a thread you've viewed before on the new software.

This should be something that sorts itself out with usage if I understand correctly.

I am just clicking on New Posts to read the threads. But when I click on the thread itself, the original posting shows first, then subsequent posts thereafter. On the older forums, there was a setting in the User Control Panel that I could set to show newest posts first. I hope I'm explaining that clearly.

I'm not sure I understand this. Can you clarify?

Ah; I misunderstood you. I understand now with your latest comment, but I don't believe that's a setting which is (yet?) available.
