No negatives in this please. I was thinking about this after reading many old posts. I am going on two years of no major failures on any of my Neptune products which includes:
EB832
Apex 2016
Trident
AFS
Dosing tube holder

I recently changed to the Sky and after skipping the Dos/Ddr due to all the negative posts I just got that in yesterday.

Edit: Changed to the COR_15 a couple of weeks ago and no issues.

Trident is still dead on - you MUST do the calibration with every box of reagents. I just compared to Salifert and Red Sea kits and Trident is right there with them.

Yes when I first got the Apex I struggled with the probes. After they were in use for a while I have very little issue. Sometimes I have to jiggle them or move the wires a little.

Do I have some nags about the Sky - yes

I am a very happy owner for the most part and appreciate that we have such great options!

I have used my EB832 to switch my heater on and off the entire time without issue. I just added a relay in between the heater and EB832 (Inkbird 308) to spare the EB832 relay and for safety purposes.

Also - I am very committed to always reading instructions and following them. I taught my 5 kids this as it has served me well my entire life. So many people will not read instructions thoroughly and follow them.

I bought an apex controller about 8 months ago and absolutely love it. The best part is using the dos with controlled dosing from the trident. I wish I would've got them much sooner.

I have since bought WSK, LSM, AFS, PMK, and some PMUPS and I have never had an issue with any of them. Buying more modules has nearly became an addiction, I'm constantly watching for good deals on used ones.

I am with you on the addiction! I even love the ORANGE now! It really grows on you. ORANGE OBJECT GOOD. lol

I do have gripes in other posts but as my kids would say - First world problems.

I said that I really like the orange and it grows on you yet the first thing I did with the Sky was yank out that Orange piece and swap it with the grey and color the grey black with a sharpie. I do have my limits lol.

I do enjoy my Trident, as stated, once I change regents, I let it run a couple tests then do the calibration. I also purchase and use the calibration fluids for the probes about 60 days or so. The COR20 has been great, no issue with that pump. I have 2 DOS units, 1 dosing ATI 1/2 and the other AWC @5ga per day, love them. Still not a huge fan of the ATO.

I feel the same way. Haha. It’s an addiction to buy the modules. Unfortunately I have all the modules I need for my setup and love it. WXM,VDM, a few FMM’s, ASM. Only one I don’t have that I keep checking on is the PM2, but I don’t think I want to spend a fortune on the salinity probe which is nearly impossible to find and very finicky. As far as other Neptune equipment it has worked great for me. I did have a small issue with Trident leaking fluid which caked up one of the pinch valves, but Neptune walked me through it and after fixing leak and cleaning pinch valve no issues what so ever.

I finally got my Trident controlled dosing setup with the Dos and Ddr. I will see how it goes. Wife complaining about more noise but it doesn't bother me as it is so short and quick. I am concerned that it doesn't seem to be pausing much between KH and CA dosing sometimes... I posted a rant earlier because of some issues I ran into with the DDR being manufactured wrong. I will contact Neptune in the meantime I got it to work fine for now.

Ha I read your ranting. It’s all good because that’s how I felt when I had the Trident issue but it all worked out.
As for the dosing I ended up using a different dosing container for my Dos. Too many bad reviews with the DDR.

I love my Trident, but refuse to use the calibration fluid (it's consistently off by up to +/-100ppm). I just use my tank water and calibrate based on my Hanna/Red Sea testing. So I'm glad it has the option to override the calibration numbers.
