I talked with @Premiumaq and asked for two large Pukani pieces. Anywhere between 15-20 lbs. They really hooked me up. The left side is actually two pieces. One large piece with another piece epoxy'd to it to create an overhang. The right side is just one piece.

Anymore? Also, for those of you who used pukani, how much did you use? I bought 90lbs for my 120 and it's WAY too much. I already took 2 huge piece out (1 went in sump and 1 in QT temporarily), and I still feel like I am working with too much. BTW this is not done, I thought I had it, added sand then decided I didn't like it at all, so now I'm trying again. I had to stop to take my son to doctor. Sorry for the clouds.

I start by making these acrylic stands, and I drill my rock after finding what seems to stack nicely.
Then I make a template of tank and overflow, and keeping my rocks dunked in SW I play around till I find something that fits well and gives room to clean glass.

Also my scapes have been specifically made to accomidate a magnifica sea anemone, so I make one pillar tall so it can be perched high up for light.

I’ve got another 20lbs of caribsea liferock shapes on the way as well. My goal was to hide the larger corner overflows. Such a narrow tank adds some difficulty.

I had a lot of inspiration from @najer
I love the depth and true reef look of his tanks.

Due to the compliment above I just took this.
The view from my desk watching the tank wake up.
I guess there is about 100 pounds of live rock, no putty, cement or supports.

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum. Been in the reef hobby for about 1 year now and learning a ton as I go. I am sure there are some real knowledgeble veterans on this forum and I know I will have a ton of questions. Here is my 120 gallon which has been up for about 1 year. I think I am doing relatively well so far, but would like to take my tank to another level. So far so good!

It took me alot of playing around with the rocks to end up with what I had. Below are some of the pictures of what I came up with before finally finalizing it.. I realized that I had to just break the rocks with a chisel and use the best pieces I could find. I used 5 pieces and created the structure (4rd picture from bottom). Came out good I feel as I can put 4 corals on their with good space to grow.. I like the idea of having multiple islands that seem to fit together so when I move I can easily pull out all the rock without complete system tear down..

I like that euro braces tank. What are dimensions and who is manufacturer?

I'd have to agree, I struggled for a while with my tank choice to go rimless or eurobrace it because I loved the functionality of the euro but wasn't too keen on the silicone seams in most euro bracing. Finally stumbled upon a couple pictures of seamless one piece eurobraced tanks and I was sold. Costs a little extra because you have to pay for the whole panel of glass it's cut from (If I remember correctly they cut one of the ends out from the scrap though so it wasn't a huge cost increase) but I think it's totally worth it...

Picking up the tank today so I'll finally get to see what it looks like in person, it's a 125 gallon as well though not a typical sized one. But once it's scapped I'll post it up here
