I'll start it....Love mine, and would love to see what others here are experiencing. Had this one 'Goliath' ( although I know somebody always has one bigger) for a few years, started off at about 8 inches and now up to around 14 on a good day. Sorta stalled at this size last 6 months or so, which is likely a good thing being in a 90 gallon. Made its way from one side of tank to the other about a year ago, but seems quite happy. I do feed it chopped mussel, shrimp, lobster or scallop once a week, along with live phyto for the zoo's within, although some debate doing either. What do you do, for yours, and how long have you had?
Anyway, let's see what you've got going on Long Tent fans!

that’s awesome! I had no idea LTAs got so big!

I wish I still had mine. Years ago, I had a purple LTA that grew to nearly 2' in diameter! It was an amazing animal, but it slowly withered away after getting an infection and i lost it earlier this year. In September, I pulled the trigger on a replacement, which was a red-based blue-tentacled variety that I ordered online. It arrived in peak health, but as things go, a wonky water change the next month killed it before it could settle ;Facepalm
Someday I'll try a few more, but for now I'm happy with where my tank is. LTAs are full of personality and are some of the most amazing nems out there.

Oh my! 2 feet!!!! Any idea of the infection? Just from a slice of Tentacle or the foot and spread? So sorry. If you have a pic of that beast I would love to see it. They are so amazing to watch imo as well. Especially when out of the blue they shrink down like a shot to incredibly smaller size if perturbed I assume by something, then inflate to previous size within 3 or 4 hours. I would hate to lose this one.....

It could have been anything, it got sick after getting shredded in a pump and losing 100% of tentacle growth. It regrew every tentacle after the event, but slowly started going downhill. I attempted to treat it with Ciprofloxacin, but it was too far gone by the time I tried. I may have a picture or two of it, probably not on this camera/PC though. I'll do some digging.

This is the best one I could find on my phone.

here's an old video of it, it may or may not play.

Here are two photos of it, right after its prime in 2019. It wrapped around the back of the rock a bit, in its hayday it filled the entire gap between islands! The close-up is a picture of him vomiting up a brittlestar, kind of gross but the only one I could find.
Well holy smokes....you've both come to the table with some serious LTA....the purple, and then also the pink with the greenish tips (or is it green at base with pink tips?). Congrats on those specimens both. Wish mine had either depth of colouration.

Wha!! Another with some serious colour depth. I realize there is lighting but, that's not it in all these images. Is it as harvested or acclimation? Mine has stayed the same pink/ white since introduction a few years back....

Lta on bare bottom? , do you have a container with sand ? Super nice tho
Mine is on a one and half inch sand bed, and hooked in under a rock, foot attached to glass bottom....no idea how it manages that way.... but ya!

No sand. It did great in this tank for 2 years…. Then it started walking around and got evicted.

Harvested or acclimation? Not sure what that means. Picked it up from a reefer on here for $100

Sorry, as you recieved it, it was this colour? Or it morphed a bit once added to tank? Mine at LFS was more pink.... as it has grown it's gotten distinctly more beige/ white? Still with the nice purple/ pink toward tips though. 100 bucks for that specimen of yours is , is a value find imo.

Ya, 'the walk' mine restless for a good 6 months and put up with it, elevated what I could, a brief dust up with Duncan, which gives that specimen a distinct bunch of knurled Tents, but its healthy thankfully.....same spot now for about 8 or 9 months. Full tank transfer coming in a few days as mine is leaking. We'll see how that goes, ugh.
