New to reef2reef, and just wanted to share the build of my evo13.5. The tank is one week old so just starting the cycle.
12lbs dry rock
20lbs Caribsea Fiji pink
Fluval ps2 skimmer
Current eflux 660
AI prime hd

Awesome aquascape!

My original evo had a little leak in it. Saltwateraquariums.com sent me a replacement. Love that company!!!

I took this opportunity to upgrade my pump to the Syncra 1.0. I also put a wood air stone nezt ro the pump intake. Im going to give the microbubble scrubbing a shot.

I put a mp10wqd in for more flow.

Im letting the corals get use to the new tank then i will be putting them on the rocks.

One question to chuckfu5. Why run that kessil so! Close? No need for spread?

Thank you. Recently switched to the ai prime hd and did some better aquascaping. Reactor still going strong with trace elements.

The lid on the fluval 13.5 when removed will definitely cause a higher evaporation rate since it's enclosed. We upgraded the lights so the lid was removed. I prefer the open top but you can purchase mesh type lids for jumpers.

Awesome! Thanks! Any place in particular for the mesh lids?
