That's awesome I've never seen or heard of a mated pair of pistol shrimps. Pretty awesome. Did u buy them together?

I did not buy them together. I forget when I got them, I think a couple of years ago.
They are in this video at 1 minute and 26 seconds in.

Yasha/candycane pistol shrimp

The candy cane shrimp are awesome, I've always liked them. I feel like my tanks always been to big for them. I tried one once and never seen him again. Sweet looking pair tho!

My shrimp goby pair lasted about 8 seconds. Then the shrimp went one way the goby the other r.

I have my pair in a 2g pico so I get to enjoy them. I have put pairs in my larger tanks and never see them again.

I've done the same things. It really sucks when u send lots of money on a pair and there never seen again. I've also had a 8 gallon with a pair and the water was always cloudy because the shrimp was way to big I guess. He kept the tank looking murky all the time.
