Here is our 10 gallon nano my son and I did for a science project that got nixed by the teacher.

We still ended up doing a floating egg in saltwater using all reef supplies and got 3rd place overall.

new to me Neo Nano.
set-up using sand, rock, and water from my 14G BioCube.
currently houses a Pajama Cardinal, a hand full of snails and hermits, and a fire shrimp. the water has cleared considerably in the last day, i'll get some more pics soon.
going to stock light on fish, and as many different coral as possible. the light is a Ecoxotic Panorama 6 strip, CoraLife SuperSkimmer, with a 20 Neo Nano gallon sump

what kind of filter do you run on a nano.. i had a 75 reef but some people has told me if you have enough live rock and current you dont have to have a filter.. thanks for any info..

if its well established, have good flow, plenty rock, and keep up on water changes, then its possible to run one without a filter.
That's what i did with my last tank. I had a 37 semi-cube with no skimmer or any type of filtration just water changes, rock, and strong flow.
