An updated photo of my 3’x16”x1’ SPS system, it’s got some beautiful new growth and bright colours from all the corals.

And as it’s been a few months we’re now into the 1 year month (it turns 1 year on August 28th).

love the creativity of the tanks here!

Top down view of my nano with a flash after lights went off for the night! The shrimps are doing very well and are a bonded pair I got from the LFS two weeks ago! Im pretty sure I got a mama in there since she keeps “opening” her abdomen and picking or sticking food in!

2 year and counting! Still cleaning up my chempiure breaking and spitting all over the tank, re did some rock work and got a few new corals. I’m thinking about making a DIY table to put next to the tank to hide the containers & equipment, hopefully in next years update!? 5/2021 -> 9/2023

@Nyc_Chef_Nano Thinking about doing the same and removing the sand, but didn’t want to screw up the beneficial bacteria! Let me know how this goes please!!

So far it’s going great. I take the sand out little by little when I do my weekly water change.

Awesome have fun with it man! Remember simple is good! No need for all the gadgets out there now days.
No kidding, my 60 gal is kept simple and almost never has issues "knock on wood"
This is going to be my little "bank tank" keeping small frags of everything from my 60. No close friends in the hobby to bank on so trying to keep my corals even if something happens. So far so good tho! Got a damsel swimming around and a piece of my pink birds nest in there doing good so hoping it's ready to get some load on it.

22 gallon FijiCube. Slowly rebuilding the corals in the tank after a nutrient imbalance disaster that was mostly caused by using Flux Rx and partly by me for not doing large enough water changes I think. Got some shrooms a few Acros and some Favia right now. Has Pearly Jawfish, Yasha Goby and Hectors plus snails and an urchin
