Seen many different morphs of Acropora, but yellow has been the toughest to find. I happened on this one by accident. It was originally olive green and after bouncing from my tank to a friend and then back again, this coral turned yellow.
I'd love to see more Yellow acros or even corals that had amazing transformations.

It took me a bit, but I found a pic of the colony when I bought it as a frag 3 years ago.

I don't have a yellow acro, but I do have a yellow montipora digata, just don't have a picture of it right now.

Older pic of it under some white lights in the background to show yellow. I've got 2 more that are showing some vibrant yellow, I'll get some shots of those tomorrow as well as lookup what the names of them were when purchased.

It's green because my nutrients are a lot higher than normal.

Placing a very obvious green acro behind or close to your ' yellow ' gives your eyes something to compare and tricks the viewer into seeing a more ' yellower ' acro than the exact same acro sitting alone. There's a lot more to color placement than just sticking different colors all over the place, i use every ' trick ' in the acro book to make my reef look the was it does.........;)
