Video of the lionfish spitting at feeding time, I was soaked after this.

Most of the time I'm standing so I can dodge it, this time I was sitting in a chair, she even covers the front of the tank when I'm gone. I have to wipe the front of the tank and stand down daily and continuously check my salinity since I never know how much water is missing due to evaporation or showers. I wouldn't trade her for anything though, its the most attentive fish I've owned, almost like a family dog whenever you walk in the room you always feel greeted, even if it is only for food lol.

My wife lives lionfish. I am just afraid that if I let her get one, it would eat my clowns, orchid dottyback, or firefish. Or all of them lol.

Good possibility, I keep a top on it at night so my scorp doesn't jump out again and to help keep some of the water in from the lionfish but its not cutting it at the moment.

I'd be concerned too, I started with a 20g and moved up to a 55 but didn't want to tear down the 20 because I wanted a red scorpionfish, found it, then found the dwarf and wanted it too, good tank mates for each other so far but as the scorp gets bigger ill need a change of plans.
