!Who says everything good happens slow in this hobby![]()
!
The tank was running when I bought it and was around a year oldEven with tons of excellent, mature live rock, I don’t think I would ever put that many corals into such an immature tank (even if I was just upgrading tanks, I’d leave the old one going and slowly transfer stuff over). I’m not doubting your experience, or saying that disaster is imminent, I’m just saying I wouldn’t have the guts to try it, it’d be too anxiety inducing for me. But it looks gorgeous!
, I’ve only personally had it a month but some of the rock is 10+ years old! Ive done this before and never had a problem haha. I normally wouldn’t put this many corals in a tank in the first place but my friend was getting out of the hobby and made me a ridiculously good deal on all of them.Haha I bought someone’s coral that was breaking down their tank, it was a 175 gallons. So that goes a long ways in a 30 gallon tank![]()
You buy colonies? lol I still have frags, most of which I've had for a year.
You have a great looking tank tho nice job!

best decision I ever made
I’ve had it a month...lol that makes it a month old. There wasn’t any coral in it when I bought it and no rock. Just the sand/water.So it isn’t a month old....
