Showing online status when not selected.

Not a big deal but I'm bored and wonder why under my privacy settings I have the option to show my online status not selected yet my online status is still showing? Am I missing something or does this option just not work?

Thank you very much. This confirms that to me the option to not show my status either does not work as designed or there is some hidden meaning that my feeble mind isn't grasping.
EDIT I told you I was feeble minded. I read can instead of can't. Lol so perhaps @Miami Reef is correct

Often if I click on a users name I can see when they were last seen and what they’re viewing. I will use @kevgib67 as a example

But when I click on your username I don’t get that information

I didn’t see your name in the list while you were active (you posted 5 min before). I think it only shows it for you.

I don’t know if his name is there or not, but with there being 1207 names not visible he could just not be displayed on the list.

Did you try turning it off and on yet?

I guess if I am visible in that list and someone is willing to scroll through all of the names then they deserve to know lol. Its not a biggie just something i noticed the other day. There probably isn't any real privacy online so I try to grasp what little there is.

I’m starting to think @Miami Reef is right and you only see you on the online member list when you are viewing it. I just looked at the list (which is sorted by my recent activity) and I went through the list until after you last posted and didn’t see your name.
