So I received this anemone today and it looks like it was completely ripped apart and guts are handing out. I've heard stories about anemones recovering from being sucked in to power heads. So my question is, does this anemone look like it can heal itself or shall I start looking for a refund.

Refund. That's unacceptable. Did you order this from a vendor? There is a extremely thin chance of it recovering. But you shouldn't have to take this chance. Did it arrive to you like this?

Definite refund. Wouldn't hurt to try putting it in a basket and see if it recovers. But you may get a lot of floating pieces.

i wouldnt put it in the tank like that it looks beyond saveable. :( poor little guy. dont mess with it. good thing you took pictures and posted on here to ask before doing so.

call up your vendor who you bought it from and request a refund. if not call your CC company and tell them to dispute the charge and open a new claim.

Thanks for the advice guys, it is sad. I was looking forward to giving it good home so was my Clown fish. Still waiting for a response from the vendor but hopefully I can get a refund and try again
