Those are probably mysis shrimps. Somewhat rare to find but good food.I don't usually do IDs but I was about to dump this water than I got from a fellow hobbiest when I spotted some interesting stuff in it. The red stuff looks familiar but I'm not too sure. The shrimp are about 1/8" long and swim in erratic little circles. Heres a quick video of the shrimp. What do you guys think?
That's pretty cool! Any chance they'll breed in my fuge or should I just dump them in the tank for fish food? I assume they've been breeding in the tank they came from
Definitely. I have a friend that breeds them but he breeds in a tank just for them. He keeps lots of macro in the tank. I’ve been wanting to breed some but I don’t run a fuge in the sump.
