A few months ago I went to the Shed aquarium. For the first time I saw shrimp fish in person. As far as behavior I have never seen anything like it. Such a unique swimming pattern. I know the care level will be high for these fish but in a few months to a year when my tank is matured I am thinking about trying a small shoal of striped shrimp fish 4-6. From what little I have found on these fish I see they prefer live foods but can possibly take frozen foods over time. I have a 4' 120gallon tank with a 60gallon refuge and 120gallon sump with ~50-70gallons. I know I am long way from getting these fish but the more time I have to research the better. As far as foods does anyone have any recommendations? Does anyone know if there are different types of shrimp fish that adapt better to aquarium life? Any information would be helpful.
