I have a shrimp goby that has happily been living with my pistol shrimp for about a year. Then suddenly it has been hanging out in the sand not with the shrimp. She looks very weak but no spots or other sign of disease. Water parameters all seem fine. Any thoughts? I don’t know what to do with her. Thanks.

Can you post water parameters to be safe? Is he still eating? Any lethargic breathing?
Can you post clear pics under white lighting? Or videos?

She did not eat when I fed them before posting this. Her breathing may be slightly labored but not much though her mouth is open all the time it seems. Temp was 78. Nitrates around 0. Ph 8. Kh 120. Gh 180. She is hiding under a rock at the moment but will send a picture when I can.

This was the best picture I could get. You can see her mouth is open.

That is good to know. Though they have been living in unison for about a year so I feel it is something else. Hopefully she will recover. Thanks for your help.
