Okay, so yesterday I introduced a Alpheus bellulus and Cryptocentrus cinctus pair to my aquarium. This isn’t my first goby however it’s my first snapping shrimp and I was wondering how long it usually takes to see a sign of the shrimp still being alive (I.E. the snap).

I have a candy cane (alpheus Randali) sometimes I dont hear it for a week, then I'll hear it almost constantly for a few days. Still kinda freaky when it's dead silent in the room.

I agree.
It’s not super constant when my tiger sounds. He pops up every few days.
They seem to be more visible in smaller tanks. I always saw mine in the fluval 13.5, I almost never see it in the 40B.

190g and my tiger is always around and visible. Pay close attention to the sand.

Honestly my old Randall's and Yasha combo rarely made any noise. After my Yasha died and the shrimp felt more threatened I would here it more frequently. So in my experience it's more or less dependent on how secure the shrimp feels if it's clicking or not.

Yeah, it’s day 3 and I’ve not heard anything but I also haven’t seen the watchman (Albeit I have been assuming the pair stayed on the side of the tank I introduced them on).
I also have quite a bit of rockwork and caves towards the bottom of the tank so I’m assuming they both feel relatively secure.
My biggest worry is the fish I have, CBB, Radiant Wrasse, and a Jade Wrasse. Along with the fact I had 2 established shrimp already (Golden Dwarf Boxer and a Skunk Cleaner).
