Shrimp ID please

i got this guy online. Ordered 2 peppermint shrimps. One looks very much like a peppermint shrimp while this guy has small highlights of red but his body is very much brown with white spots. He buries himself in the sand throughout the day and when scared. I know there are a lot of different shrimps called peppermint but he just looks and acts so different then any other I have come across.

That may very well be a mantis variety. Am I seeing large eyes?

He doesn’t seem to have any sort of wicked claws or clubs that would lend me to think mantis shrimp. Just normal looking shrimp arms. I have had him for 2 months now and nothing has died or gone missing.
