So im laying on my bed ad glance over at my tank and see my pepermint shrimp on my jedi mind trick at what it looks like to be cleaning it. Then a few seconds later my yellow tang comes over and to what it looks like bites one of his, not sure of the name little tenticals i guess that come from him. now he is just sitting on the rock motionless for the most part. i thought tangs where vegataions? cant think of the right name herbavores or omnivores my brain is fryed from this paper im trying to write.

Yellow tangs can be very tempermantal and aggressive, even if its not the biggest fish in the tank. Aggression is usually more pronouced in a smallish tank, though thats not always the case.

So what am i stuck not having shrimp now, it took him about 4 weeks to come out since i bought him and the first time i saw him going through "cleaning" my rock it seems like he picke at him. Now he is i think dyeing he is just kinda laying there but the tang has left him.

you can always get a mantis shrimp :-). I'm sure your tang won't be biting into that

The shrimp will probably be okay. Like crabs they can regenerate some parts. Provided the shrimp isn't continuously harassed or too badly beat up.

Good luck!
