Was about to get to bed and noticed all these little guys swimming around in my coral and invert QT. Looks like a larval state of something. Shrimp maybe? Livestock is as follows:

4 Tiger Sand Conch
3 Emerald Crabs
10 Cerith Snails
6 Nassarius Snails
1 Tiger Pistol Shrimp

The huge eyes make me think it's not just pods. Reminds me of larvae.

It’s definitely got some legs in there. I hope you have somewhere to keep him and watch to see. Very cool to see what it turns out to be.

I took the floss out of the hob so they wont get stuck in the filter, hopefully just pass right through. The one that I caught I returned back to the tank. There is no fish in there so hopefully they wont get picked off, I put some phyto in but idk what they actually eat. There were about 100 or more in there, I don't see any this morning. Should I have put them in a brine shrimp hatchery or something? If I see them again what could I do?

Yep. My peppermint shrimp larvae look pretty similar

Have you had a chat with your emerald crabs lately?

I've a sneaking suspicion this may be one of their kids.

Ooh, dang. I have emeralds too. Suddenly I'm less sure those are peppermint larvae in my video.

I shall call him Squishy!

Wait, if he going to have an exoskeleton, he won be squishy... hmmmm.

I shall call him Skeletor!
