Shrimp molting

Should I pull a fresh shrimp molting out of the tank or leave it in and let it naturally degrade?

It will take a day or two, but they break down pretty easily and shouldn't be around after that.

I remeber reading somewhere on this forum (whether its true or not) but some shrimps eat their molting to regain some calcium.
Either way it wont be there for long i left mine in as it fell in a cave near clownfish (i aint putting bare hand near their lair) and it went within 4 hours for me

I’ve pulled them out ,I’ve left them in !!! It’s a personal preference

Yeah think ima leave it in. Feed the CUC and just for nutrients.

The morning after I found my newly acquired lawnmower blenny wrapped in my plerogyra sinuosa’s tentacles I saw what I thought was my shrimp in the same unfortunate situation. My first thought was that I’d added a serial killer to my tank. Fortunately it turned out to be my shrimps molt. So, if you have a weak heart take it out otherwise leave it in as a snack
