currently have a ten gallon with some lps and soft corals. I have no fish in there as of now. If i plan on picking up a shrimp, will i need to feed the shrimp? Will the shrimp harm the corals?

Yup feed them.

A hungry shrimp is a shrimp on the look out for food even if that food is found within a corals gut or the coral it's self. There is certainly nothing wrong with throwing some pellets the shrimps way once a day.

I have some Scarlett cleaner shrimp. They see to eat anything and everything. But they do need food. So feed them on a regular schedule.

Look into a Cleaner shrimp. They are cool to watch, pretty tough, and won't harm your corals. They seem to like brine or mysis shrimp.

Yes thinking about either a cleaner shrimp or a fire shrimp. Will fire shrimp be fine with my corals?

Fire shrimp are technically cleaner shrimp. My fire shrimp hasn't ever touched any of my coral. I can also hand feed him. Pretty cool peaceful little guy.

id feed them , my peppermint ate my mushroom, favia , scoly , and attacks my duncans and other corals when he is hungry....his days are numbered ....;Rage
