Just wondering if anyone here knows or has experience on setting up a shrimp-only marine tank ?

One of our three tanks is a Fluval Edge V which has some soft coral and shrimp in it. We keep sexy shrimp, and a couple of sargasm shrimp. Keep in mind that some shrimp will eat other shrimp. My cleaner loves when I through in a small peppermint or ghost feeder. Heard coral banded shrimp also eat smaller types. You could probably stock a small nano with sexy shrimp and maybe harlequin but know that harlequin need starfish for food.

I have never heard of someone doing this locally where I'm at but like that clownfitch said a Fluval Edge would be perfect. or a Pico tank. I know i would like to a do a species's only tank of one kind of fish like 15 or 20 of them. For example blue tangs.

You must really like shrimp or are trying to breed them to eat lol.

Just want something easier to care .

Thanks for much information .

Sure would be cute to have a shrimp nano with the right combination!

That is the plan :)

I can't image it would be any different than a normal reef or FOWLR tank.....just without movement :-) They require the same stable water conditions as any other fish/coral. Would be an interesting tank though with the right species of shrimp. I have seen Mantis tanks which were pretty cool.
