So ....

Got a new shrimp a week ago. He is very happy. He has molted once already and is fitting in with the other fish perfectly. He even comes out of the cave now and hangs out.

But there's this bubble on the side of him! It wasn't there when I bought him. I'm thinking maybe his molt went weird and this will go away the next time he molts? As long as he is happy and eating don't worry?

Help!

I'm pretty sure it has a parasite

Um ok ... so what do I do about that? Just let it be or die or wait it out? Will it affect my fish? None of them have anything like that at all.

Well I found a video ;Nailbiting
Just want to add I'm not 100 percent positive that's what you have just looks a lot like it.

Just from some quick reading if it's a parasite the shrimp don't make it long. I have no idea if those things would target fish..

Took a better picture of it. Not sure if I see an isopod in there or if it's more like the guys of the shrimp?

I suppose I could try and catch this guy and operate like that video. I'd hate to do that if it isn't a parasite or if it's not gonna cause a huge problem for the shrimp.
