I'm getting ready to make my first batch of home made food. I've accumulated raw shrimp, mussels, scallops, salmon, oysters and a frozen seafood medley containing blanched squid, blanched octopus, and cooked mussel and clam meat. Does this sound acceptable and should I peel the shrimp before blending?

Peel the shrimp before blending since most food processers will leave large inedible chunks of shell which makes the food messier

Makes sense, thanks. Do you think it's a deal breaker that some of those ingredients in the seafood mix are blanched or cooked?

I would personally avoid precooked if possible
